Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) saw a bullish performance in Sunday’s mid-session.
The general index gained 0.03% or 1.98 points to reach 5,804.6 points by 11:10am Muscat time.
The financial sector rose 0.2% as Al Madina Investment Co. (AMII) and Oman United Insurance (OUI) increased 6.15% and 1.06% respectively. Meanwhile, Taageer Finance fell 1.49%.
The industrial sector grew 0.15% as Oman Fisheries and Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles advanced 1.79% and 0.65% respectively.
The services sector increased 0.02% as Ooredoo went up 0.65%.
Turnover amounted to OMR 923,060 after trading 7.77 million shares through 246 transactions.
