Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market added 0.01% or 0.57 points at Thursday’s open to the level of 5,497.63 points.
Trading volume reached 3.05 million shares exchanged at OMR 426,410 through 35 transactions.
The financial sector rose by 0.08% backed by HSBC which grew 0.9%.
The industrial sector went up 0.05%, supported by Galfar Engineering and Contracting which increased 1.06%.
On the other hand, the service sector was the only loser shedding 0.01%.
