Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Monday near stable after edging down 0.08% or 4.19 points, reaching 4,995.17 points.
Raysut Cement Company fell 3.43%, while Al Jazeira Services and Al Anwar Holdings decreased 1.96%.
The industry sector shed 0.66% as Oman Refreshment Company and National Aluminum Products tumbled 4.52% and 1.47%, respectively.
On the other hand, the services sector went up 0.34% after Renaissance Services grew 5.98%.
The financial sector increased 0.18% as Al Madina Takaful and Al Madina Investment levelled up 1.77% and 1.54%, respectively, whereas United Finance Company (UFC) retreated 6.25%.
Trading volume slid to 11.09 million shares on Monday against 40.27 million shares on Sunday, while liquidity declined to OMR 2.98 million from OMR 12.29 million.
