Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) MSM30 ended Sunday’s trading session up 0.34%, as it gained 18.94 points, and closed at the level of 5,654.02 points.
The financial sector added 0.46%, as Al Madina Investment led the session’s gainers and surged 3.03%, while Bank Dhofar and Al Anwar Holdings rose 2.79% and 1.01%, respectively.
Similarly, the services sector index levelled up 0.22%, as Omantel and Sembcorp Salalah gained 1.42% and 1.24%, respectively.
On the other hand, the industry sector lost 0.18%, as Al Maha Ceramics and Galfar Engineering fell 1.29% and 1.18%, respectively.
Traded volumes increased to 9.11 million shares on Sunday compared to 3.48 million shares on Thursday. Traded values reached OMR 2.45 million, up from OMR 1.5 million in the last session.
