Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) reversed the upward trend it maintained for four successive sessions on Monday.
The general index declined 0.02% or 1.21 points to reach 5,434.74 points.
Shariah index decreased 0.05% to 862.32 points
Turnover reached OMR 3.9 million after 15.23 million shares were traded through 480 transactions.
The financial sector fell 0.15%, followed by the industrial and services sectors at 0.04% and 0.01%, respectively.
Al Sharqiya Investment Holding topped gainers after adding 2.15%, while Al Jazeera Steel Products led losers after falling 3.45%.
