Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market slide 0.24% or 12.98 points to close at 5,484.07 points.
The benchmark declines came after pressures by both the financial and services sectors that declined by 0.15% and 0.17% respectively.
The industrial sector was the sole gainer as it went up 0.07%.
The market trading value increased to OMR 6.73 million from OMR 2 million in the previous session. The market trading volume also increased to 24.72 million shares from 10.93 million shares in the preceding session.
