Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) saw a positive performance in Sunday’s early trades.
The main index fell 1.02% or 59.16 points to reach 5,723.54 points by 11:00am Muscat time.
The services sector was the only loser with a 1.18% decline, weighed down by Maridive and Oil Services (MOIL) which slid 7.27%.
Trading volume reached 840,870 shares worth OMR 513.98 million.
Oman Telecommunications (OTEL) decreased 4.29%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector rose 0.04% as Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles (AACT) increased 0.59%.
The financial sector stabilised at the previous level.
The market saw turnover of OMR 660,940 after trading 1 million shares through 142 transactions.
