Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Sunday’s trading session in red, as the main index MSM 30 lost 0.12% or 7.25 points, and closed at the level of 5,807.81 points.
The services sector slipped 0.07%, as Renaissance Services and Oman Telecommunications went down by 1.57% and 0.72%, respectively.
On the other hand, the industry sector increased 0.6%, as Oman Fisheries gained 5.65%, while Galfar Engineering added 2.17%.
Similarly, the financial sector went up 0.29% on the back of Al Anwar Holdings, which led the session’s gainers and surged 6.19%, while Al Sharqiya Investment was the biggest loser and lost 3.01%.
Traded volumes increased to 24.68 million shares compared to 20.8 million shares in the last session. Turnovers also grew to OMR 4.85 million up from OMR 4.63 million on Thursday.
