Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed 0.21% or 11.66 points lower to reach 5,420.48 points on Sunday.
The services sector dropped 0.19% as Ooredoo and Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) declined 1.56% and 1.15%, respectively.
The industry sector shed 0.15% after Oman Fisheries tumbled 2% and Galfar Engineering and Contracting decreased 1.25%.
On the other hand, the financial sector inched up 0.02% as the National Bank of Oman (NBO) and Ahli Bank grew 0.89% and 0.56%, respectively.
Traded volume declined to 6.78 million shares on Sunday against 9.1 million shares on Thursday, while liquidity fell to OMR 1.51 million against OMR 1.65 million.
