Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Sunday in the red zone after falling 0.14 or 7.52 points to reach 5,427.89 points.
Gulf Investment Services Holding, Phoenix Power, and Al Sharqiya Investment Holding decreased 3.19%, 2.26%, and 1.71%, respectively.
The services sector shed 0.4% as Port Services Corporation declined 2.65% and National Gas dropped 2.56%.
The industry sector lost 0.16% after Oman Fisheries and Raysut Cement tumbled 1.95% and 0.94%, respectively.
The financial sector fell 0.11% as Al Madina Takaful went down 1.65% and Al Anwar Holdings levelled down 0.96%.
Traded volume slid to 15.17 million shares on Sunday against 23.18 million shares on Thursday, whereas liquidity rose to OMR 3.67 million from OMR 3.16 million.
