Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) retreated by 0.16% or 9.52 points to end Thursday at 5,791.74 points.
The financial sector led seven decliners with a drop of 0.45%, dragged by the Financial Corporation Co which lost 10%.
Meanwhile, the industrial segment was the only gainer with 0.32% on the back of Gulf International Chemicals which rose 2.41%.
MSM’s turnover increased to OMR 2.77 million, while trading volume shrank to 11.33 million shares.
Oman Fisheries was the most active stock on which 2.61 million shares were exchanged at a value of around OMR 487,850.
