Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market dropped at Thursday’s mid trading by 0.14% or 7.55 points to the level of 5,585.34 points.
By 10:20am Muscat time, trading volume reached 10.5 million shares exchanged at OMR 2.62 million through 255 transactions.
The services sector declined 0.12% due to a 1.3% decrease in Omantel, the financial sector grew 0.03% as HSBC Oman and Takaful Oman rose by 1.7% and 1.4% respectively.
