Mubasher: The benchmark index of Muscat Securities Market (MSM) rose by 0.29% or 16.9 points to reach 5,819.52 points by the week ended 10 February when compared to the week ended 2 February.
The industrial segment topped the weekly gainers with 1.08%, followed by the services and financial services segments by 0.54% and 0.03% respectively.
Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles topped the winners with a 13.73% rise, while Construction Material Industry led the losers with 5.56%.
Liquidity decreased by 11.11% to total OMR 15.88 million from OMR 17.87 million in the previous week. Trading volume grew 9.08% to 95.48 million shares from 87.53 million in the past week.
Market cap gained 3.66% to total OMR 17.82 billion by the end of this week.
