Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Wednesday in the green zone after increasing 0.31% or 15.76 points to reach 5,113.35 points.
The services sector rose 0.32% as Al Jazeira Services grew 3.23%, whereas National Gas decreased 3.24%.
On the other hand, the industry sector declined 0.32% after Al Maha Ceramics and Oman Fisheries dropped 3.23% and 1.42%, respectively.
The financial sector edged down 0.03% as Bank Sohar levelled down 1.38% and Al Anwar Holdings tumbled 1.24%.
Trading volume increased to 13.68 million shares on Wednesday against 8.16 million shares on Tuesday, while liquidity rose to OMR 2.63 million from OMR 1.68 million.
