Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) saw a positive performance in the week ended 1 June, with its main index declining 0.6% or 32.27 points to reach 5,435.41 points.
The financial sector grew 1.36% as Financial Services went up 0.80%.
The industrial sector added 0.08% as Oman Fisheries gained 5.5%.
On the other hand, the services sector declined 0.47% after Oman National Engineering and Investment (ONES) retreated 3.7%.
Trading volume reached 95.67 million shares this week, compared to 86.43 million shares last week. Turnover amounted to OMR 14.19 million, compared to OMR 11.96 million.
Bank Nizwa was the most active stock and value leader with a trading volume of 20.35 million shares that generated OMR 1.95 million.
