Mubasher: The benchmark index of Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Thursday’s session 0.14% or 8.17 points higher to 5,668.33 points.
The financial sector topped the gainers with 0.27%, on the back of Al Madina Takaful which levelled up 2.15%.
Oman Fisheries was the top winner by 4.65%, while Muscat Finance led the losers by a fall of 3.7%.
MSM’s turnover increased to OMR 5.81 million, after trading volume grew to 16.67 million shares.
Al Anwar Holding was the most active stock on which 2.14 million shares were traded.
