Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market fell this week by 1.87% or 108.71 points to the level of 5,714.35 points.
Trading reached 71.95 million shares exchanged at OMR 13.89 million.
The financial, industrial and services sectors dropped collectively by 1.75%, 1.69% and 1.12% respectively.
Oman National Engineering and Investment topped losers with a fall of 9.88%, while Areej Vegetable Oils and Derivatives led gainers by adding 10.2%.
Net sales by foreign investors reached OMR 1.46 million, while net sales by GCC investors amounted to OMR 44,470.
Meanwhile, net purchases by Omani and Arab investors totalled OMR 1.46 million and OMR 36,960 respectively.
The market capitalisation shrank by 0.01% week-on-week or OMR 1.26 million to OMR 17.2 million.
