Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) saw a downward trend in Thursday’s early trades, falling 0.55% or 28.81 points to reach 5,170.28 points.
The market saw trading of 3.86 million shares through 19 transactions by 11:00am Muscat time, with turnover of OMR 885,930.
The financial and services sectors levelled down 0.99% and 0.08%, respectively. The industrial sector rose 0.30%.
Al Jazeera Steel Products was the best performer after rising 6.21%, while Bank Sohar led decliners after falling 5.52%.
