Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market general index lost 37.80 points or 0.70% in Thursday’s session to close at the level of 5357.65 points.
The Sharia Index also fell 0.52% to 829.38 points.
A total of 20.65 million shares changed hands at a value of OMR3.67 million in 1,118 transactions.
The financial sector declined by 1.42%, followed by services (-0.57%), then the industrial (-0.41%).
Raysut Cement topped raises with a again of 3.33%, while the Oman National Engineering headed decliners with a fall of 10%.
Galfar Engineering was the most active with a trading volume reaching 6.28 million shares, while Bank Muscat came on top with a liquidity of OMR1.19 million.
