Turnover reached OMR 2.2 million after trading 11.3 million shares.
The financial sector fell 0.75%, followed by the services and industrial sectors which declined 0.23% and 0.20%, respectively.
Port Services Corp led decliners after losing 4.26%, while Oman Cement was the top gainer after adding 2.22%.
Bank Nizwa was the most active company after generating OMR 281 million from trading 3.5 million shares.
