Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Sunday in the green zone, after increasing 0.3% or 15.36 points to reach 5,134.88 points.
The financial sector rose 0.32% as Oman and Emirates Investment Holding grew 2.94%.
On the flipside, the industry sector shed 0.49% after Galfar Engineering and Contracting and Oman Fisheries went down 2.63% and 2.2%, respectively.
The services sector decreased 0.25% as Al Suwadi Power retreated 5.56%.
Trading volume tumbled to 7.64 million shares on Sunday against 10.49 million shares on Thursday, while liquidity declined to OMR 1.1 million from OMR 1.86 million.
