Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of Muscat Securities Market rose in Sunday’s mid trading by 0.1% or 5.64 points to the level of 5,813.71 points by 10:20 Muscat time.
Trading volume neared two million shares exchanged at OMR 278,110 through 86 transactions.
The financial sector grew 0.15% as Bank Nizwa and Bank Sohar advanced 1.32% and 0.57% respectively, while Gulf Investment Services Holding shrank 0.86%.
The services sector, however, declined 0.01%, pressured by the fall in National Gas by 0.38%, whereas Phoenix Power gained 1.3%.
