Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) opened Wednesday in the green zone, as the main index gained 0.34% or 16.64 points, reaching the level of 4,950.87 points.
Trading volume reached 17.95 million shares exchanged at OMR 5.9 million through 342 transactions.
The financial and services sectors increased by 0.71% and 0.19% respectively, while the industrial sector moved down 0.36%.
United Finance was the best performer in early trading after rising 4.67%, while Construction Material Industry was the worst as it dipped 3.45%.
The main index closed Tuesday with a decline of 0.64% or 31.58 points to 4,934.23 points.
