Mubasher: The main index of Muscat Securities Market (MSM) lost 0.59% or 33.25 points to reach 5,635.08 points by the week ended on 23 March.
The services segment led the decliners with a fall of 1.95%, followed by the financial and industrial segment with a drop of 0.30% and 0.01%, respectively.
Sohar Power was the top loser this week, falling by 11.63%, followed by Bank Muscat which dropped 10.41%.
Meanwhile, Al Hassan Engineering topped the winners with a rise of 20.41%.
MSM’s trading value decreased by 14.88% to reach OMR 25.25 million during the week from OR 29.66 million in the past week.
The trading volume shrank by 6.83% to total 85.76 million shares from 92.04 million in the previous week.
Market cap lost 0.13% to stand at OMR 17.79 billion.
