Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) general index gained 0.03% or 1.91 points to reach 5,809.72 points in Monday’s early trades.
The financial sector rose 0.2% by 11:10am Muscat time, as Al Anwar Holdings and Al Madina Investment Company went up 2.91% and 1.45%, respectively.
The services sector added 0.01% due to a rise in Omantel by 0.36%.
On the flipside, the industrial sector fell 0.36% as Oman Fisheries and Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company sank 2.67% and 2.13%, respectively.
The market saw trading of 6.23 million shares through 344 transactions, with a turnover of OMR 1.19 million.
