Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market opened Tuesday’s trading falling 0.09% or 5.6 points to the level of 5,855 points.
Meanwhile, the Shariah index rose 0.01% to the level of 892.63 points
Trading volume reached 5.3 million exchanged by 11:30 AM Muscat time through 325 transactions, with a turnover of OMR 1.4 million.
The financial sector declined 0.22%, while the services sector rose 0.01% and the industrial sector was flat.
Global Financial Investment topped gainers by adding 1.99%, whereas Muscat Gases led decliners with a fall of 9.94%.
Bank Muscat was he most active stock after making a trading volume of 1.2 million shares exchanged at OMR 482,500 through 105 trades.
The index rose yesterday by 0.29% or 16.92 points to the level of 5,860.7 points.
