The market saw trading of 1.52 million shares through 129 transactions, with turnover of OMR 553,990.
The services sector decreased 0.32%, followed by the industrial and financial sectors at 0.04% and 0.03%, respectively.
Omantel was the worst performer after falling 2.81%, while Al Madina Investment Co. topped gainers after adding 1.64%.
Al Izz Islamic Bank was the most active company after trading 278,870 shares, while Omantel was the value leader after generating OMR 358,000.
