Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market's (MSM) main index, MSM 30 dropped 36.65 points or 0.69% to the level of 5,305.64 points in Thursday's mid-trading.
The Sharia index also fell 0.13% or 1.11 points to 828.33 points.
Turnover came to OMR 1.4 million ($3.63 million) as 7.31 million shares were traded through 291 transactions.
The financial, services and industrial sectors slid 0.83%, 0.14% and 0.1% respectively.
Ahli Bank was the worst performer as it declined 3.93%, while Muscat Finance topped gainers with a rise of 0.78%.
Bank Sohar made the biggest trading volume activity with 2.13 million traded shares, whereas Muscat Bank recorded the highest trading value activity with a liquidity of more than OMR 471,000 ($1.22 million).
MSM 30 and the Sharia index dropped yesterday by 0.39% and 0.33% respectively.
