Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Thursday in the red zone after declining 0.42% or 22.4 points to reach 5,354.77 points.
Ooredoo lost 2.07%, followed by the Renaissance Services with 1.83%, and Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Company with 1.41%.
The industry sector shed 0.63% as Al Jazeera Steel Products retreated 5.14%, while the services sector tumbled 0.2%.
The financial sector dropped 0.28% after Al Madina Investment Co. and Bank Sohar decreased 1.41% and 1.38%, respectively.
Traded volume fell to 9.47 million shares on Thursday against 17.42 million shares on Wednesday, while liquidity slid to OMR 2.03 million from OMR 2.76 million.
