Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended 0.34% or 18.65 points lower to reach 5,510.04 points on Tuesday.
The index was weighed down by the financial sector which shed 0.16% as Oman United Insurance lost 2.63% and National Bank of Oman declined 2.17%.
On the other hand, the industry sector rose 0.95% after Oman Fisheries gained 7.09%, Al Maha Ceramics Company increased 1.57%, and Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles went up 1.37, whereas Oman Refreshment was the worst performer with a drop of 4.63%.
The services sector levelled up 0.1% as Renaissance Services and Al Jazeira Services boosted 3.30% and 3.13%, respectively.
Traded volume rose to 20.72 million shares on Tuesday against 12.23 million shares in the previous session, and trading volume reached OMR 3.88 million against OMR 2.69 million.
