Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) opened Monday in the green zone as the benchmark MSM 30 rose 0.52% or 28.93 points to 5,681.62 points.
Also, The Sharia index leapt 0.23% or 1.93 point to the level of 5,681.62 points.
Trading volume reached 18.99 million shares exchanged through 811 trades. Turnover came to OMR 3.16 million ($8.21 million).
Gulf Investment Services Holding was the best performer with an increase of 7.94%, followed by Oman and Emirates Investment Holding with a rise 5.6% to OMR 0.132 ($0.34), the highest level since 8 April, 2015.
Al Anwar Holding and Phoenix Power were the only loser as they declined 1.77% and 0.66% respectively.
Galfar Engineering was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 4.89 million shares, while Bank Muscat made the highest liquidity with OMR 988,100 ($2.57 million).
MSM 30 advanced yesterday by 0.75% or 42.31 points to the level of 5,652.01 points.
