Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, closed in green for the second day in a row, as it rose 1.26% or 62.53 points to 5,016.51 points, and the Sharia Index inched up 0.46% to 803.26 points.
Trading volume reached 27.2 million shares worth OMR 6.13 million after 1,235 trades were closed.
The main sectors moved up collectively, as the financial, industrial and services sectors grew 2.32%, 0.80% and 0.34%, respectively.
Oman Cables topped risers by adding 6.90%, whereas ORIX Leasing fell by 5.80%.
Bank Muscat was the most active share, making a trading volume of six million shares exchanged at OMR 2.48 million.
MSM 30 increased yesterday 0.40% or 19.75 points to the level of 4,953.98 points.
