Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Thursday in the green zone after gaining 0.12% or 6.17 points to reach 5,119.52 points.
The financial sector increased 0.12% as Oman ORIX Leasing, Takaful Oman Insurance, and Bank Sohar levelled up 2.4%, 1.74%, and 1.4%, respectively.
On the other hand, the industry sector shed 0.2% after Oman Fisheries lost 2.16%.
The services sector decreased 0.1% as Al Jazeira Services, National Gas, and Oman Qatari Telecommunications (Ooredoo) dropped 2.5%, 2.23%, and 1.31%, respectively.
Trading volume declined to 10.49 million shares on Thursday against 13.86 million shares on Wednesday, while liquidity tumbled to OMR 1.86 million from OMR 2.63 million.
