Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) saw a positive performance on Monday.
The general index went up 0.03% or 1.91 points to reach 5,745.96 points.
The industrial sector gained 0.38% as Oman Flour Mills and Oman Fisheries grew 3.35% and 2.6% respectively.
The financial sector levelled up 0.03% after Bank Nizwa increased 2.3%.
The services sector was the only loser with a 0.02% decline as Al Jazeira Services and Omantel slid 4.55% and 0.63% respectively.
Trading volume reached 14.88 million shares on Monday, compared to 15.77 million shares on Sunday. Turnover amounted to OMR 2.2 million, compared to OMR 2.88 million.
