Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market’s main index dropped by 1.36% to 4,913.91 points, losing 67.77 points in the first trading hour.
sectors were collectively down, as the financial sector fell by 2.43%, followed by services that saw a 0.36% slide. Finally, the industrial sector shed 0.03%.
At 11:00am Muscat time, the total trading volume reached 5.66 million shares exchanged through 268 transactions, at JOD1.24 million trading value.
Al-Jazeera Steel’s share came first with 0.73% rise, while Global Financial Investment share was the biggest drag with a fall of 9.91%.
Also, Bank Muscat share topped the trading list with a volume of 988,500 shares and with a value of JOD377,000.
