Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index slightly surged by 0.02% or 1.13 points to 5,815.48 points, supported by a rise in the industrial sector.
Wednesday’s early session saw a trading volume of 5.24 million shares and a trading value of OMR 1.06 million reached through executing 155 trades.
The industrial sector moved 0.16% up, while the banking and services sectors dropped by 0.17% and 0.05%, respectively.
Shares of twenty companies were active at morning, two of which were risers, while seven were fallers and the remaining 11 were flat.
Oman Cement and Global Financial Investment increased by 2.22% and 0.98%, respectively, while Al Sharqiya Investment Holding was the top loser with 1.77 decrease.
MSM30 closed Tuesday with a drop of 0.36% or 21.37 points to 5,184.35 points.
