Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) signed several funding agreements with a number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to finance micro-enterprises in Qena with a total value of EGP 11.45 million.
These funding agreements are expected to create more than 1,300 jobs, according to a statement on Wednesday.
From July 2014 until June 2020, MSMEDA financed about 55,000 micro- and small-sized enterprises in Qena with EGP 1.1 billion, creating about 72,000 jobs, Mohamed Abdel Malak, a senior official at the agency, said.
