Kuwait - Mubasher: The financial statements of Mabanee Company showed a 1.55% growth in profits for the second quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2016, according to a bourse filing.
The company said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait on Tuesday that profits amounted to KWD 12.55 million ($41.45 million) in Q2-17 up from KWD 12.36 million ($40.82 million) in Q2-16.
As for the first half of the year, profits edged up 1% to KWD 24.61 million in H1-17 compared to KWD 24.37 million for the corresponding period of the year before.
The rise in profits is attributed to lower financing costs, the statement noted.
