Majid Al Futtaim, Marriot International open Aloft City in Dubai

Dubai – Mubasher: UAE's shopping mall and leisure pioneer Majid Al-Futtaim and Marriot International announced the opening of Aloft City Centre Deira in the emirate of Dubai.

Aloft City, which is owned and developed by Majid Al Futtaim, is the region’s first hotel offering movie-themed suites, in addition to VOX cinemas outdoor screen, according to Arabian Business.

"This concept will provide a completely new offering within Dubai’s hospitality sector and will see us create even more authentic and personalised experiences that will delight guests in our home market,” Jalil Mekouar, CEO of hotels at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, commented.

The hotel, which is Aloft brand’s third property in Dubai, and the 13ht in the region, includes 304 loft-inspired rooms and suites – including four cinema-themed suites.

“Aloft City Centre Deira brings a new experience to Deira by delivering an urban-inspired gathering place for tech-savvy Next Gen travelers and local residents.” Mekouar added. The hotel's total cost wasn’t revealed.
