Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai-based Majid Al Futtaim Group has opened City Center Sohar, the company’s fourth shopping, entertainment, and modern life destination in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Emirati retail giant has invested OMR 45 million (AED 430 million) in the construction of City Center Sohar, according to a press release.
The centre provides services to nearly 570,370 residents in Sohar city in Oman, the group said.
City Center Sohar features 129 retail outlet, Carrefour hypermarket, Vox Cinema, Magic Planet, and a parking lot that could embrace over 1,000 cars.
The centre is part of Majid Al Futtaim’s strategy, which aims to invest up to OMR 705 million ($1.8 billion) by 2020 in Oman.
