Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim Group signed an agreement with Crate and Barrel Company for managing their stores and showrooms in Qatar from the beginning of April 2017.
This is the first time Al Futtaim enters the furniture market in the Middle East, with the launch of its first 1,500-square feet store in Qatar, which will showcase some of Crate And Barrel’s latest creations, according to a statement on Monday.
The agreement will last for five years with an exclusive licence for stores management in Qatar, besides plans of expanding in GCC countries, the statement added.
The announcement of the cooperation will take place at the World Retail Congress, to be held from 4 to 6 April in Dubai.
