Cairo – Mubasher: The Emirati holding Majid Al Futtaim Group aims at raising its investments in the Egyptian market to EGP 23 billion by 2020.
The target investment portfolio of the Dubai-based group is expected to provide 144,000 direct and indirect jobs, Majid Al Futtaim said in a statement on Monday.
The new Vox Cinema is set to be opened in Alexandria after the completion of development work in February, following Majid Al Futtaim's Vox Cinema acquisition of City Centre Alexandria’s Cinemas, the company indicated.
Vox Cinema Alexandria is a part of various projects the company seeks to implement in Egypt including modern shopping centres, retail stores, fashion shops, global restaurants, in addition to unique entertainment destinations such as Ski Egypt, Little Explorers, Magic Planet, ..etc.
Majid Al Futtaim will launch the first application to book seats in the cinema online to save time and avoid overcrowding, the company noted, adding that audiences can enjoy watching movies any time as a new movie starts every 20 minutes.
