Dubai-Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) announced a comprehensive redevelopment of City Centre Ajman with investments estimated at AED 600 million ($163 million).
The mall will almost be double in size, rising from 29,000 to 52,000 sqm, according to a statement published on MAF’s website.
Scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2017, the expanded mall will feature 150 retail and dining outlets, as well as an VOX Cinemas with innovative 4DX screens as well as specially-designed children’s theatres.
The mall’s expansion will be followed by an additional refurbishment and redemising of the existing mall.
The mall’s redevelopment is part of Majid Al Futtaim’s recent commitment to invest a further AED 30 billion in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the end of 2026, bringing the company’s total UAE investment to AED 48 billion.
