Dubai – Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim Group plans to launch its new flagship community, Tilal Al Ghaf, in Dubai this month.
Tilal Al Ghaf is a mixed-use lifestyle destination that features residential, commercial, retail, leisure and entertainment community, the UAE-based conglomerate said in a statement.
Spanning 3-million square metres, the new project will include over 6,500 homes when completed, 400,000 square metres of open space, and a 70,000 square metre swimmable lagoon, Lagoon Al Ghaf, with a sandy beach.
Scheduled to be completed by 2027, Tilal Al Ghaf will combine freehold residences, ranging from apartments, townhouses and bungalows, through to substantial luxury villas, intersecting with natural landscapes.
"Landscaping will include around 400,000 square metres of open space, including the swimmable Lagoon Al Ghaf spanning over 70,000 square metres, and 48,000 square metre water canal," Majid Al Futtaim, the Middle East operator of French retailer Carrefour, noted.
Meanwhile, the company did not give further details concerning the total cost of the project.
