Dubai – Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim has unveiled its second multiplex in Saudi Arabia in the Riyadh Front lifestyle development.
Slated for inauguration in early 2019, the new multiplex is planned to be the largest in Saudi Arabia, featuring mega-screen MAX, KIDS, and luxury cinema theatre, according to a company statement.
“This second location for VOX Cinemas and Magic Planet in Riyadh will be a flagship, as we continue to roll out our ambitious expansion plan for the kingdom,” CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas Cameron Mitchell commented.
The UAE-based shopping mall company Majid Al Futtaim is planning to open 600 new cinema screens in the coming five years.
"We can’t wait to bring more unique Majid Al Futtaim entertainment concepts to moviegoers in Saudi Arabia, as the feedback from our first multiplex and Magic Planet has been nothing short of exceptional,” Mitchell said.
