Mamish appointed SCZone chairman

Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has appointed Mohab Mamish as the new head of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), succeeding Ahmed Darwish.

The decision was issued on Sunday, stating that Mamish, alongside his work as the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, will be appointed on a minister’s degree for one year.

Meanwhile, Mahfouz Mohamed Taha Marzouq has been appointed as the deputy chairman of the Suez Canal Authority.

In August 2015, El-Sisi issued a decree establishing the General Authority of the SCZone, and in November 2015, he appointed Ahmed Darwish as the chairman for three years.
