Mannai Corp acquires majority stake in France’s Gfi Informatique

Doha – Mubasher: Mannai Corporation said on Thursday that it has acquired a majority stake of 51% in France’s Gfi Informatique Company after buying an additional share of 10.4% for 8.5 euros per share.

Gfi Informatique was owned by Apax France (jointly with Altamir) and Boussard and Gavaudan, according to a bourse filing.

Earlier in April, the Qatar-listed company announced the acquisition of 16.66 million shares in the French firm for 8.5 euros per share, constituting about 25% of the capital and voting rights of the French company.

The stock closed Wednesday’s trading falling 2.7% to QAR 88.86.
