Mubasher: Mannai Corporation on Tuesday announced acquiring a 17% stake, including voting rights, in Gfi Informatique from Boussard & Gavaudan.
The purchase was carried out through an off-market transaction and included 11.23 million shares, at EUR 8 per share, Mannai said in a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Following the acquisition, Mannai’s stake in Gfi Informatique grew to 81%, while Apax France currently holds 6%, and Boussard & Gavaudan hold 9%.
Prior to the acquisition, Mannai, Apax France, Altamir, and Boussard & Gavaudan held a collective stake of around 95% of the share capital and voting rights of Gfi Informatique.
