Cairo – Mubasher: Maridive and Oil Services on Sunday announced it has been awarded a new contract worth $27 million in Mexico through one of its subsidiaries.
Upon the contract, Maridive’s unit will provide $12 million essential navigation services and $15 million additional work to one of its clients in the Latin country, the company added in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The main 18-month term contract is set for implementation as of this month, while the additional work will be completed in up to 42-month period, Maridive highlighted.
As per the contract, the Egyptian firm will offer various navigation support services, diving services, and remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) services, the statement said.
Moreover, the company indicated one of its maritime units has become operational in Mexico in the fourth quarter of 2018.
For the full-year ended 31 December 2018, Maridive had posted a net consolidated profit of $14.002 million, versus $23.49 million a year ago.
