Dubai-Mubasher: Duba-listed retail firm Marka reported a 770.7% surge year-on-year in its losses during the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
Losses reached AED 18.72 million ($5.1 million) in Q2-16, compared to AED 2.15 million ($585,210) in Q2-15.
Total revenues increased 18.2% quarter-on-quarter to reach AED 89.5 million in three-month period ended 30 June 2016.
Net operating losses stood AED 3.83 million in Q2-16, the statement highlighted.
